At last, the secret of Cheryl's chocolate chip cookie revealed!
I've eaten only about five of these today. Good thing we had a bike race in the morning to burn off a few of them.
I put the recipe on Freebase.
Cheryl modified the recipe from an Epicurious recipe for chocolate chip cookies from 2003. She simplifies the mixing procedure, adds more chocolate chips and nuts, and has a handy tip for arranging the cookies on the sheet pan.
My big contribution was the coarse sea salt on top--always good to have a little savory with your sweet.
